Looks like there will be a real race for the board of education seats in the next election! Joey Warren announced recently that he will be running for a seat, along with Liz Loud-Hayward. Mr. Warren might be better known to you as his watch-dog alter ego, The Aberdeener.
This should make for a spirited election! Good luck to all those who are running!

Helping families of special needs children understand their legal rights is the topic of New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome’s latest Wednesday Webinar. Local News
From the Independent:
http://independent.gmnews.com/news/2009/0205/schools/021.html
An article discussing Helen Rappaport's position with the school district. It also mentions that she has several law suits going and that she has not show up for her new position since the winter break (and has shown the district the proper documentation to do so).
I would like to remind any parents who are not comfortable with Ms. Rappaport (or her temporary replacement and main supporter) being their case manager, that they are able to write a letter requesting a new case manager.
